I'm currently engaged (Yay!) to Riley Spear and I have been for a little over a month; he proposed on February 4th. We're getting married on June 30th. He is absolutely amazing. He cooks, is romantic, a total sweetheart, very handsome, intelligent, amibitious, and picks up on hints...yes he is a man and has always been one.
(Dorky picture of us)
So being engaged includes wedding planning. Don't get me wrong, it's super fun, but sometimes it is so crazy! The good news is that all of the big stuff is pretty much done. I have my man (most important), ring, dress (squeal in excitement), photographer, temple booked, reception center, colors, and the Honeymoon. We're taking engagements on March 31st. I am stoked!
I am still trying to figure out centerpieces...I want photographs involved...any ideas?
I also have the best group of gal pals in the world. We actually just had a slumber party at my house on Saturday so that was super fun. My friend Brianne is engaged, McCall is waiting for her missionary, Kellie is turning in her mission papers, and Sara is well on her way to becoming an amazing chef! Carmen and Ashley couldn't make it...which was sad. But we still love them. Carmen is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet and loves making movies. Ashley is married to an amazing man named Tom. Love my friends!
Speaking of friends...most of our guy friends are out on missions (which is awesome). One of them, Matt Godfrey, just got back on Thursday! Two years goes by fast. It was fun to talk to him and update him on life. Most of the guys will be coming back between May and July so that will be a party.
I work at Tahitian Noni International. I'm in the call center and I absolutely love it! I applied to be a trainer, so we'll see if I at least get an interview (cross fingers). My team is awesome. We have a blast working here. It's nice to work in a place where everyone is nice and gets along.
Well...that's pretty much it. I get to go teach my juvenile delinquents today so that should be fun. I teach kids up in Springville how to debate. I'm trying to help them become more confident in speaking in front of their judge. It really is an amazing experience. Thanks for taking the time to read about my life. I hope your day is going great!
Love the blog! Keep it going! [BTW-when you mentioned juvenile delinquents right below the picture of your Team . . . . It made me smile!!!] :) :)
